I'd like to first point out that the delivery guys were very good. They were on time (maybe a little early,) polite, knew what they were doing and didn't destroy anything.
This could be really a cool refrigerator (pardon the pun) if.... please read on. The stainless facade on the doors and handles, as well as the body coating is superb. It has some nice features and the shelf arrangement is pretty good as well. Depending on how you set your shelving and which level you put a gallon of milk on the door, make sure it doesn't contact the inside shelf because that will stop the door from fully closing. I had that problem before I rearranged things.
I don't like how the right door closes to begin with because of that sealing flap. Sometimes it doesn't close tightly without an extra push. I think they could've and they certainly should have done much better with that design. Usually it closes okay but, it must be monitored. I imagine we'll get used to it. I would've given it more stars but, if the door doesn't close easily, what good is everything else. Please know, the door is not out of alignment, it's the design and I'm surprised nobody else mentioned it in they're reviews.
The water dispenser is on the slow side as compared to the GE we replaced and the water isn't cooled either. The ice cubes are pretty tiny as well. They melt away pretty fast from the water dispenser. Not used to that either because the GE produced the right size cubes and the water was cold. However, if I read the manual prior to purchase, I probably would've picked out something different because it mentions this so, I guess I can only put blame on myself for that one. Anyway, who on earth wants tiny ice cubes and un-chilled water from a frige dispenser????
All in all, it's just an okay unit simply because of what I'm mentioning but, I must say, the temps in both the refridge and the freezer seem to keep the food and stuffs right on. Once I get a chance to pick up a hanging thermometer, I'll check it against that. It runs nice and smooth and the outside surface isn't cooling my kitchen.
I use this unit free standing but, the counter depth size is quite roomy on the inside despite the external dimensions, and what one might think. My GE was actually a counter depth size in width but was taller and the depth was greater all while it wasn't as roomy on the inside as this one.
We are fortunate to have a house to put a refrigerator in so, all said, things could be worse. I hope my review helps you decide. Good luck with whatever you purchase. Take out additional warranty, things don't last like they used to.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Full Width Store More Drawer...

Can you please tell me if the full width drawer is temperature and/or humidity controlled? Also, can you tell me the height of the drawer as I am used to storing rather bulky items (roast or a whole chicken) in a drawer that looks similar.
That drawer is 4" H X 28.5" W. Doesn't seem to be temp or humidity adjustable in itself. It's label is "Cool Drawer" and it gets cold in there. It is the lowest spot in the refrigerator. Don't think you'll be putting a a roast or chicken in there either. Just look at the pics on the site.
