Very Quiet with 7.1 or 5.1 with USB

These headphone are very comfortable. And very loud if you are plugging them straight into your sound card jacks. But be warned, to get the 7.1 and 5.1 sound you must use the USB adapter. And the sound is very low, and basically worthless. There is a fix out there where you download an old set of drivers. The sound does improve, but not enough. I would return if I could.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

will it work with the xbox one , sorry if this is a dumb question
plz answer quick include details if you can
From what I have read, that the power from the console will not power the USB adapter / amplifier. But I'm sure if it has the same jack size it would.

Does it have surround sound.
Kinda it has a USB adapter that provides the surround sound. The sound is very low when using the USB adapter / amplifier. There is a fix with a old driver, it improves the sound but not by that much.

does it plug into USB port or one plug in for sound the other for mic ?
It is both, if you want surround sound you have to use the USB adapter. But I would only use the speaker jack, plug the mic straight into your computer. There are known issues with the head set and the manufacture doesn't seem to want to fix them. The USB adapter is basically the amplifier for the surround sound. And its sound output is very low, do a search on internet to get an idea. But they are very loud in a 2 channel sound, powered off your sound card.
