What's great about it: The able to keep strong connection with multiple deivce cocnnected to the network.
What's not so great: Interface when logged in to the route could use as refresh.
I had an E1200 Linksys router prior to getting this netgear router. I was having connection issue with the E1200. It would drop internet connection and was unable to suppport the amount of device I had even thou it states it can. I did some research see what routers where top of there game. I got this Netgear router and I have to say, it looks good and blends nicely in with the rest of my device. It has Great Signal range well be-on what the box states. I am currently get increased speed. I have to say I am very impressed with the Performance of this device.

modem-router

Can I replace my century-link rented modem-router with this product?
No, You will have to get a modem to connect to century-link service, then a router as a separate device. This device will do your wireless and hardwire connection for you device. It does not do the process of a modem.

Compatible with Comcast Xfinity?

I am looking to buy a modem/router for my new xfinity internet. Will this model be compatible?
This device will be Great for the connection you are looking for. The router currently connect me to my service provider at 105mbps download. If you need a modem you will have to get that as a sperate device is this only a router. Comcast should provide a modem. I do not recommend getting a two in one modem/wireless router. They do not seem to perform well.

2nd router for home

I was wondering, can 2 routers can be in the same house? I currently have a router through my cable company but the wifi does not cover the whole house. My TV room has very little, sometimes no wifi at all. Can a 2nd router be installed in my TV room? I would love to have one to streamline movies/video from my Roku & Amazon.
Yes, You can install a second router in the home. You could get a range booster for the current router. You could also get a Better router like a NETGEAR - N750 Dual-Band Wireless-N Gigabit Router with 4-Port Ethernet Switch which would give you better signal for the whole house and mostly increase your thought-put over all. Do to the face the wireless/modems from service providers are no the best for wireless speeds. (Fun fact. Charter offers a wireless router but does not support the wifi only hardwire and does not guarantee any connection speed with it.)
