What's great about it: Bluetooth, sound quality, Eq, solid bass, Aux connection and 2 USB ports
What's not so great: no headphone jack, no Ipod intergration, single Cd
I bought this system twice in two weeks. I wanted a system that I could control everything remotley. I have a Samsung note 3 with ALL my media on it and a Ipod classic with MOST of my media on it. So what sold me on this one was the bluetooth feature and I could use my Note remotley and then hook up my older Sony system with a Ipod dock and remote for my classic with this one via Aux. My perfect system. then I bought it again as a extra for camping trips, I want to be able to rock the campground, I don't want to take the home one apart and comparing the sound of this one to the 700 watt of another brand side by side THIS ONE SOUNDS BETTER.
I would recommend this to a friend!

When using Bluetooth, can you change songs in connected device using remote?

When using Bluetooth, can you use the stereo system's remote control to control the connected device, such as skipping a song, previous song, stop playback ?

No. I would suggest using your connected device as a remote.

What type of bass and treble controls doew this have"

Does it have individual control knobs for bass and treble levels?
No. a built in Eq and a bass boost setting within.

Can I download my music from my laptop to a flash plug it into USB and get to my music like that

Yes. This system plays flash drives up to a certian capacity. (100 files or so)

Can you use the remote to fast foward within a song on a CD?

As an elementary music teacher, there are many times when I need to go to a specific spot in a song. When I looked at the local Best Buy store, they did not have a remote for the LG. It sounds wonderful, but this is a feature that I have used a LOT on the Sony system currently in the classroom.
