After reading reviews on several soundbar systems I decided to give one a try. This for our bedroom TV so I don't need huge volumes, just something that sounded good and can be heard over an air conditioner.
Setup was simple. Connected by HDMI. The soundbar automatically is controlled by the TV remote due to HDMI.
My wife is thrilled and I didn't go broke to make her happy!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought two of these units to create a wireless bridge from my media server (external USB hard drive) to my living room. Setup was super simple and looking at the speed tests it's faster than my 1GB wired LAN.
While the firewall functions are pretty basic, everything else about this model is incredible. I highly recommend this model if it doesn't break your budget.
I would recommend this to a friend!

when being used as a media server will the second AC-2400 still act as a range extender?

Hello,

I'm contemplating getting a second one to use as a media server to consolodate the music and digital movies i've bought over the years so i can watch them throughout the house. But there are some points on one side of the house where the signal gets weak and unreliable weather i'm using the 2.4 or the 5ghz frequency so i was wondering if having the 2nd AC-2400 in media server mode would still allow it to act as a range extender or if it would have to remain close to to first router to act as the media server.
Yes, these units will act as a range extender while in bridge mode. With two of them (one set up as a wireless bridge to do what you're doing) I now have insane wireless speed across my entire 8,000 sq. ft. property.
