What's great about it: Beautiful Stainless Finish, Quality Fit and Finish, Powerful 1200 Watt,
What's not so great: Needs a Longer Power Cord,
I purchased this microwave to go with my mini fridge/freezer combo I bought from Best Buy.
I bought the fridge/freezer and microwave to have in my bedroom. I was having foot surgery and needed both appliances close by.
I bought my fridge online. However, I did not see a model I liked at the time.
A few days later, I went into my local Best Buy.
I wanted a high-wattage microwave to achieve the best cooking quality.
I saw this stainless steel Panasonic microwave.
I saw it was 1200 Watt so had to get it.
Plus, I find Panasonic a very good brand. My Panasonic HDTV has lasted me years with no problems.
After inspecting it inside and out I decided to purchase it.
I asked the sales associate about the 20% off promo for Summer 14'.
The manager advised he could not do it in store, it was online ONLY.
However, he decided to give me the discount in store this one time.
I got the fridge for a $100 bill. Not bad.
I unpacked the microwave when I got home.
It had a bit of weight to it. However, not a bad thing.
I put the microwave on top of my mini fridge/freezer.
I went to plug it in and had difficulty getting it to the plug.
The cord is very short on this microwave. It desperately needs a longer cord.
The finish was true stainless steel. It matched my fridge very well.
The microwave has effortless buttons, easy to touch.
It was a push button door. No handle.
Also, it has a easy to read clock.
The microwave has so many functions it's mind blowing.
My favorite feature is the +1/min button.
It adds one minute to the cook time. Nice Feature.
The microwave has 1200 roaring watts.
I have cooked pizza, bagel bits, corn dogs, and frozen dinners.
The microwave performs very well.
Everything comes out piping hot.
Time wise, shorten your time 1-2 mins.
This microwave is very powerful.
I warmed up a slice of pizza on 15 seconds.
The slice came out fully hot with the cheese bubbling.
However, it can be somewhat loud when in operation.
I noticed this issue went away as I used it more frequently.
I am very happy with the fit, finish, quality, and power of the unit.
It has blown away my expectations and shown me again Panasonic is a wonderful brand. Very Reliable.
I expect this microwave to last me for years.

What's great about it: Great Price, Stylish Finish, Great Quality, Ice Cold Fridge, Chilly Freezer, Real Freezer
What's not so great: Needing to Adjust the freezer hinge out of the box
I purchased this mini fridge/freezer combo to put in my bedroom because I was having foot surgery. The fridge being located in my room made it great to not have to crawl down my stairs.
I ordered the fridge/freezer combo and took advantage of Best Buy's 20% off coupon. It made the price of the fridge more affordable. I got to pay with PayPal Credit. I love being able to use that!
The fridge arrived a few short days later. It weighs about 60lbs.
The fridge is packed very well. My fridge had NO dents/scratches.
I unpacked the fridge and removed all the foam and tape from the outside of the fridge.
I LOVE the stylish finish of this fridge. It was nice and smooth.
It resists fingerprints and just looks GREAT!
The outer finish is black.
I opened the door of the fridge and was surprised how large and roomy it was. The fridge featured a crisper drawer, a space to put (2) two liter pop bottles, a mini shelf, a pop can dispenser, and two adjustable shelves.
It has a light inside the fridge, which I love when getting a gatorade in the middle of the night. Plenty of illumination.
The freezer features a roomy area to store 10 boxes of bagel bites.
It has a nice little "shelf" built into the door.
The fridge runs extremely quietly after 24-48 hours.
The fridge has 7 temperature options, 7 being the highest.
The fridge keeps fruit, veggies, lunchmeat, & beverages ice cold.
The freezer keeps the frozen goods and ice cream frozen.
I have owned mini fridges with a freezer in the past.
However, I have never seen such a great freezer. It's the real thing!
Unfortunately, I did have one issue when receiving the fridge.
Upon getting it setup, I attempted to open the freezer door.
It was stuck. I finally got it open with a touch of force.
Then, I tried to close it and it would not close.
I read the manual on how to adjust the hinge.
I unsnapped the black cover concealing the hinge.
I used a philips head driver to loosen the screw 3-4 turns.
I tried the door and it opened and closed normally.
I tightened the screw a touch and replaced the black cover.
As per other reviews, the fridge and/or freezer may build up a light coating of ice. This was not a problem for me.
Included with this fridge/freezer was an ice scraper (to remove ice buildup) and an ice tray. The ice tray is small.
However, you can buy a bigger one.
Overall, it's a quiet, cold, stylish, and roomy unit.
I know I will be happy with it for MANY years.
This product has... Lots of door storage, Design I love, No hard to reach spots, A freezer designed to fit full-size pizza boxes, Runs quietly, stylish, ice cold, real freezer, glass shelves, light inside, plenty of fridge and freezer storage, pop can dispenser
About me... Always get the deal, avid cook

does it vent from the back or the bottom?

Yes, it vents via the exposed motor in the back.
Also, the sides of the unit get a bit warm when cycling.
However, once it gets up to the temperature and stabilizes, it usually doesn't cycle on much.

I hope this helps.
