I've wanted my own DSLR for a while now - more specifically a Nikon DSLR. I had been using my Nokia Lumia 1020 for pictures and videos, but after a weird camera glitch it corrupted many photos and videos of a recent trip...and so I decided the purchase of an actual camera was in order.
I wanted a camera I could take with me to whatever corner of the globe I found myself in, as well as grow up on (as I plan on buying a better Nikon camera later on as I begin to improve), but also a camera that would be kind to my wallet since I'm but a mere fledgling in the art of photography. After some heavy research I found that the D3300 fit both my budget and quality criteria and ended up receiving it as a present from a family member. The camera itself is lightweight and pretty durable, and I can fit it into a carryon bag no problemo.
I'm pretty pleased with the results from my last overseas trip: It did well with the sunsets (though the manual does warn users not to point lens into the sun), crashing waves, and captures moving animals well too.
There's nothing wrong with this camera's "Auto" mode but...from my own experience I really don't like Auto Mode on any camera. It's easy to customise ISO and all that to make sure you come out with your desired results.
I also thought I would have to take panoramas with my Nokia Lumia 1020, but that wasn't the case - it was easy to do, and tripod or not, they came out pretty good.
The lens it comes with is great for beginners, but from past DSLRs I'm used to zooming in from further distances, so I will be buying a better zoom lens in the near future. I'd also recommend purchasing a camera cover for the body for added protection and registering it with Nikon for the warranty (unless you aren't as 'dropping-things-down-a-mountain-into-a-river' prone as I am).
Granted, there ARE better cameras on the market (hence the 4 star rating), but if you're a beginner on a budget this is a great DSLR to start out with. Nikon and other D3300 users have a plethora of video tutorials on how to use this camera should you need visual help.
And remember - it's not the camera that makes the photographer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I decided one day a few years back I wanted to ditch my iPod and switch to a Sony Walkman; fast forward to the here and now I couldn't be happier with my past decision. It should be noted, however, that I use the Walkman as an MP3 player and just that. I don't (and never have) loaded videos or photos or anything like that on it. Just loads of music and podcasts.
I initially bought the Sony Walkman NWZ-E353 and had it since it first came out. It's been all around the world with me; dropped on the subways of Osaka, and lived to play another day when dropped on the streets of Stavanger...I couldn't ask for a better MP3 player for long plane rides, boring desk days at work, or short jaunts around town. After 3 years of wear and tear my old Walkman is still very much alive and kicking. The only reason I decided to upgrade was space - I went for the 16GB because I knew I'd have this MP3 player for awhile, despite the $95.00 price tag. I saw it in store and decided try something new and to go ahead and buy one locally than try to find a new NWZ-E353 online.
Pros:
-Durable
-Long Battery Life
-Clean Features/Design
-Included Songs Are Nice (I like 'em anyway)
-Lots of Storage for Music and Podcasts
Cons:
-Lacks Features of E353 (personal complaint)
-Same Common Language Choices (very personal complaint; ignore)
-Bulky Shape
-Chrome(ish?) Buttons Get Dirty Easily (doesn't bother me)
-Included Earbuds Aren't So Great (doesn't bother me)
In conclusion I'll definitely keep my E353 around, but I do like the E385 and I'll definitely love all the storage I have now compared to my 8GB E353.
If I could recommend a product to go with this one, I would say these earbuds are still with me after almost a year of use:

They've blocked out many a crying infant on plane rides and sound pretty great. They aren't Bose quality, but I think they're still a pretty good deal to the casual music listener.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Does it come with international warranty?

I will be going back to India very soon. So, will the warranty be valid in India for the remaining months? or do I need to pay additional amount to get an international warranty?
I purchased the product in the U.S. and read through the Limited Warranty sheet it came with just now - in parentheses next to "Limited Warranty" it has "(U.S. Only)".

Later on in the warranty it states: "This Limited Warranty is valid only in the United States".

I'm assuming any problems the product has outside of the U.S. would be solely on your shoulders, but you might contact Sony about it if you're unsure.

Sorry I wasn't of too much help, and I hope you get an answer you're looking for!
