What's great about it: Easy to attach, looks nice, soft touch, easy to see LED's
What's not so great: power button cap, instructions, soft touch gets greasy
I picked up this case on clearance for $50 and overall its decent. Fit is perfect but the power button cap does instantly press the power button once you put it on and just power cycles the phone indefinitely. I tried to trim the inside peg a bit but decided to just remove the cap altogether. Looks like its supposed to be like that even with the cap popped off, and it is recessed a bit but still quite pressable.
The finish does get fingerprinted up a lot but clean it off with an electronics wipe and it returns to new.
I made sure to charge it first thing out of the box. When my phones battery level dropped to 45% I flipped on the switch. The case charged the phone almost 10% and then was completely drained. What. The Heck.
Charged both up again and then the next time it worked much better. It's a 2500mAh pack which is a little bigger than the phones 2300mAh battery, So when you use up your phones battery up you can just about charge it up once more with this. My M7 is over a year old so the battery life is less than it should be, so with this case I can get about double the life and usage... throughout the day.
Worth 50 dollars? Yeh, I would say so... you get a case and battery pack in one, figment is perfect (exception of that power button cap) but $100+ nah I would find a knock off instead.
This product has... Attractive design, Easily fits in pocket/purse, A no slip grip, Tough/durable, good fit
About me... outdoor enthusiast, active lifestyle, traveler, professional
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

How does the Mophie charger work? Is there a button or switch you push/slide or does it runs with phone battery?

mophie - Juice Pack Charging Case for HTC One Mobile Phones - Black
Once the Mophie on one the phone there is a switch on the back that will turn it on or off. You can charge both at the same time through the regular port and on the back at the bottom there are 4 LED's giving you an indication of how much power is left.
Once your phone's batter is low you flip the switch and it will start charging.

*power button cap must be removed because it will press the phones power button constantly.
**you cannot sync the phone to your computer with the case on despite what says in the description. When you plug it in USB it does come up but after 15-30 seconds will disconnect... then reconnect.... then disconnect... so you have to take the phone out to do that.
