What's great about it: Convenient to take out and put in.
What's not so great: lose a usb port also burnt out in a year.
I used this on my gaming pc and it burned out within a year. That was pretty expected as the belkin doesn't have anyway to cool itself so it runs really hot. Since it runs so hot it will turn itself off requiring you to take it out and cool it off. Now I'm an active Pc gamer so i will play anywhere from a few minutes to a couple hours. When the belkin is used anywhere over an hour or so you begin to see the problems.
TL;DR
Don't buy if you plan to use this hours on end or game with. Do buy for a personal laptop that you don't use for hours at a time. It will get hot!!!

This device worked perfectly fine and after just a few days cannot connect to the internet. Please HELP!!!
First is the green light on your belkin lit?
yes:read next question
No:It's probably broken or the usb port is broken, switch usb port read Q1
second:is your router on and does it say it's connected to the router
yes:then there is an issue with the router getting internet, try restarting or calling service provider
No: if its not on...turn it on, if its not connected try reconnecting.
three:are you to far away from the router?
Idk: well be next to it and see if you get a connection!

Will this work with my ps3
I have a ps3 but i cant run an ethernet cable and i would like to know if this will work
Ps3's have their own wireless connection. Just go to settings and choose wireless connection and then find your router. If you are saying that the wireless feature of your ps3 is broken then this probably won't work since you need to install software and sony's ps OS probably won't let you.

is there anything i can use to get wifi for tablet in areas that dont have signal?
I have a tablet with built in wifi but will only pick up in area where wifi signal is strong and unblocked? Is there anything i can buy to get wifi at all times even at home. I do not have a router. Was wondering if there was a usb to plug in to tablet to get wifi thru. Thank You for any help u can give me.
The only way i know of is if you go to your phone service provider (verizon,at&t, etc) you can buy something that will give you 3g where ever you go. The box can let you hook up any object that requires a wifi signal and doesn't have its own 3g network. the box is portable but will cost a painful monthly fee to use. If you can live without it i would.
