I already had an Insignia TV in my living room and due to the fabulous performance I received from that TV I knew I wanted to go with the same brand. I bought this TV on Black Friday for $179 for my bedroom and even more impressed with Insignia than I was before. Awesome picture and features at an extremely reasonable price. My co-worker also purchased the TV and loves it. She is now on look out to replace her living room TV with another Insignia. These rate up there with Vizio, Samsung, etc. Anyone who thinks Insignia is an "Off Brand" needs give this one a spin.
I would recommend this to a friend!

USB details

Can you play video files off of a thumb drive or portable HDD? If so which file formats are supported?
No it does not come with a program to play them with. You would need an adapter box to do that like Roku or Western Digital.
