After 2 bad phones from my previous carrier I made the switch to Boost and decided I was going to spend a little extra money this time and get a phone i thought i would be happy with and this phone doesn't disappoint.
it's 5.7in screen is bright and the touch screen picks up every tap. It's not a high def screen but for a pre-paid phone under $300 the screen resolution is pretty good. the back lighting is very bright. If you are like me and like to use the phone landscape to text and view videos the auto rotate is not as responsive as it should be but i have found if you hold the phone at about a 45 degree angle it will auto rotate but it may take a second or 2.
It comes with about 1.6gb of storage space for apps and it WILL let you move apps to sd which was a BIG selling point for me, the last 2 phones I had wouldn't let you and I hated that they didn't. Apps are stable with the exception of one app I use but the problem is the app itself. The apps load fairly fast and their isn't any lag even with 3 messaging services, facebook and email notifications. I haven't tried any games on this phone so i am not sure how it would do with games.
The back camera is 8.0mp and has an led flash. It takes pretty clear photos for being 8mp. the front camera is only 1mp and the photos are very dark and grainy so good lighting is a must if you want to use the front camera, but i am not much of a selfie person so this is fine for me.
The call quality on this phone is very clear and much louder than my old phones both were, i have no problems hearing or understanding the person on the other end of the phone. the wifi works really well and doesn't drop signal and it doesn't shut the wifi off when the phone goes to sleep. I live in a small town so 4g lte speeds aren't common but when I am in a 4g area data is very fast. The phone gets and maintains 3g very well and 3g speeds are much faster and more reliable than my old phones.
If you are looking for a good phone, like or don't mind a huge phone and screen, and don't need the best of the best in specs I would recommend this phone.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Boost Cell Phone, what is it ?
I guess I wasn't thinking . I entered a bid for a boost cell phone on Ebay. Thinking it was the same as a regular Cell phone . Is it ? I have consumer Cellular for my reg. Cell phone . I've been looking at definitions and I came in here looking for answers. But it looks like I made a mistake. Am I wrong in thinking that you have to buy a card for a certain time to use it ? Or something like that. Please advise. Thanks ... Tom
yes you have to buy a boost mobile air time phone to use it if it is not unlocked, if it isn't unlocked you can probably get it unlocked but it might cost some money

no this phone is not unlocked, unlocked phone will be under the unlocked section and they don't have a carrier attached to them

the Sharp Aquos Crystal is not available in the United States yet, and they have not announced a release date as of yet, the only thing they have said so far is by the end of 2014

boost mobile is a prepaid cell phone provider that uses sprint towers to provide service. they have plans with more data than most other prepaid carriers, for instance if you activate an account before Nov 3rd 2014 you get double the data on your plan than you normally would their $55 plan is unlimited talk text and data with 10GB 3g/4g lte after that 10gb you are throttled to 2g. it's the best deal in prepaid phones at the moment and their service is better than Straight Talk offered at walmart
