CAN THIS SET BE USED AS A COMPUTER MONTER ? DOES IT HAVE VGA PLUG IN THE BACK OR A HDMI PLUG PLEASE E- MAIL ME WITH THE ANSWER.

It does have a VGA, I guess you can use it as a monitor, it does have a HDMI plug also. Doesn't come with the cables to hookup.

Whre are the speakers located

Speakers are in the back, has good sound.

product depth

this product is listed with a depth of 2 inches without the stand, which is thinner than the version without the dvd player. Is the depth really 2 inches?

With the DVD side 2 1/2, go with that.

VCR RECORDER PLAYER

Can I use my VCR recorder player on this machine?

I believe you can hookup your vcr using the cables. It doesn't come with component cables. But I think you can find the cables at Wal-Mart or bestbuy.

can the tv be put on a table with out the stand will

do not want to use the stand will it stand up

You need the stand to set it up. Will not work without the stand to well. You can wall mount it.

can you do internet activities, such as banking or e mail on this smart tv?

I don't believe so. It's a pretty basic tv.
