I am very happy with my TV. I am glad I got a Plasma while still available since they are being discontinued. I have this TV in a well lit room and it still looks great. I may add a sound bar for more volume since the speakers are the only aspect of the TV that is not perfect.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Is there any lag when gaming?

I read that this series of TVs can sometimes have a lag when playing video games. Has anyone experienced this?
Unfortunately all Plasmas do. Only in competitive first person multi-player is it noticeable though.

Are Plasma TV's becoming obsolete?

Not at all. LED's costing twice as much still do not have a superior color and picture. Until OLED's come down in price, no technology will be superior to Plasmas aside from temperature (they run warm) or energy efficiency (they use more than twice as much juice as LED's). It is unfortunate that they will no longer be available soon.
