Specification says it provides 2.4A 5V output... but my Galaxy Tab S 10.5 will not even change it status to "charging" after connecting to this charger while after connecting to original Samsung's 2A 5V charger it charges without any problem. So either Samsung's one is more than 2.4A or this one is less than 2A - at least one label must lie.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What is the amp rating?

What is the power rating in amps? Wattage info is useless when I need a minimum of 2.1 amps for my Note 10.1. Y'all with iPads need to know this as well. Specs listed are ridiculous. It might as well say "Black" and call it good.
Although on-device label says 2.4A I believe it is less than 2A. I'm guessing because my G Tab S 10.5 won't run on this charger...
Plus included micro USB cord won't sit firmly in my Galaxy S4's socket - have to use another cable.
