I love this camcorder! I used to own a Canon camcorder, which would give me lots of image noise when filming in low light. This Sony camcorder not only does that, but the audio quality is great and the image quality is amazing! I highly recommend this to beginners and other people who think they might want careers as a videographers. The only recommendation I have is to include an audio port for headphones or an external microphone. The Sony HDR-CX240 camcorder films in 1080p, which looks absolutely stunning, and it shoots in 60p.
I personally believe that Sony does a better job making camcorders than Canon does, while Canon, as what I've seen so far, has done an excellent job at their cameras. I am really starting to love Sony and I will use the HDR-CX240 as long as it still functions. Great job, Sony, I love you!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Does this camera have a external microphone input?

This camcorder does NOT have an external microphone input, but it would be really nice to have one.
