I first tried another brand because the box said it was twice as fast as this one and only $10 more. Sounded worth it. It wasn't. It was a disaster. This Motorola is used at home and works great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Present modem includes land line phone connection but subject product does not. How do I address this?

Get a router.

My modem is exactly like the large picture, except the bottom icon is blue not yellow. and it is constantly blinking. What does that mean?

Literature that comes with this modem states that when bottom icon is blue a device connected to Ethernet port is operating in high speed Gigabit Ethernet mode.

Will this modem support digital phone?

I need to get a new modem but I cannot tell if this one will support digital phone service.
Answer may depend on from whom you get your phone service. Ask your phone service provider. My Vonage internet phone service works with this modem. Vonage supplies a separate box at no additional cost to connect with the modem through a router.
