This case has saved my phone from hard drops and water. I took it to the pool this summer while nannying and set it right by the pool to use it as a timer for bathroom and sunscreen breaks. Never got brave enough to submerse it, but it it got plenty of splashes and water from kids leaning over it. I have dropped it across concrete and marble floors-no problems. I even set it on my car and drove a short distance before realizing and stopped only to see my phone fly off the top of the car, phone was fine. It's very sturdy!
My husband has an otter box and can't run with his phone because sweat gets into the case, he has borrowed my case with no problems.
I called LifeProof 12/5/2014 to get a replacement seal since mine went missing and the case is not waterproof without the seal. While talking to the customer service rep who was very polite and friendly, I mentioned that the screen had rainbows and bubbles that I couldn't fix. They are shipping me a new one. The easiest warranty replacement I have ever done! They really have simplified the process, no trips to the post office, very technology friendly! The worst thing about the call was that he was so apologetic.
Note that the warranty covers the case, not the phone, so you must test the case yourself! It's still a great product!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Missing yellow port protector on case

I bought a case a few months ago and when at the ATT store yesterday they told me I am missing the "yellow" piece that covers the Charging port. I dont recall ever having that but obviously am missing it. Can this be replaced?
Yes! Call Lifeproof. Let them know when and where you purchased your phone.
