The sound here is ok but nothing to write home about.
It looks cheap but it is hefty and solid feeling, which was a nice surprise. Aesthetically it looks typical to most headsets, the mic lights up when muted but that's the only real "bling" to the aesthetics.
The layout I have quibbles with.... The right ear cup has nothing on it, a few G buttons might have been nice addition The left ear cup has a scroll bar for the volume that is nice the G buttons could be textured for easier identification, and the power and surround buttons could stick out a bit more.
The only major complaint I have is with the recessed mini usb port which can be a pain when trying to plug in if you're in a hurry to charge the unit.
A couple of other notes: This comes with a hockey sized puck with 2 usb cords, one to connect your PC and the other used to charged the head phones. There is also a USB port on the puck to plug in the wireless receiver dongle. I suspect you could plug the dongle directly into your PC, but I have yet to test that. I would also imagine you could use a stand alone USB cord to charge the headphones but I haven't tested that either.
Overall, for the price, this is a good choice for gaming headset but if you have extra money you might opt for something with better sound.
I would recommend this to a friend!

How do I order an usb port for my H2100 7.1 gaming headset, I have a warrent from best buy

dog knocked it out of p.c. theres no order part
Not sure what you are asking but you get built in USB port on the headset for charging and get USB cables with the headset.

If you need additional USB ports for your computer, you can buy them at any electronics store (including Bestbuy), if your computer can support additional ports. USB hubs are nice, they can sit on your desk and allow you to plug devices into the PC without having to crawl under your desk to plug and unplug devices.

Hope this helps.

Logitech G930 VS Corsair H2100

Both are at the same price of around $75-$85. Both wireless, really looking for sound quality and features. both seem to have one or the other. Any recommendations?
As far as sound goes both units are very similar with the Corsair sounding slightly better and battery life on both is about 10 hours for both units.

The Corsair has fabric ear cups and padding as opposed to leather on the G 930, so this is a matter of preference. The Corsair, in my opinion, is a little more comfortable to wear as I feel the padding is more robust.

Aesthetically, its a personal choice, but the H2100 is prettier (again my opinion).

As far as features go the G930 wins hands down. The H2100 has a power button and volume wheel with 2 usb cables (one for charging and one for that can used to plug the dongle to PC) and the wireless receiver to the pc. The G930 has the same volume wheel and power button but also has 3 programmable buttons, a surround sound switch, and a mute button. The G930 has a hockey puck like docking station which means you won't have to hunt for your cables (the cables can be rolled in the puck when not used) , while all the cables for the h2100 are plugged directly into your computer with no docking station supplied..

If you're looking for comfort and better sound go with the Corsair but buy the Logitech if you're looking for extra features and convenience.
