I got this a year ago today and it has gone through hell. One thing I like about it is that when replaced the screen protector, there wasn't a single scratch on the screen. However, if you are looking for a waterproof case look elsewhere. The screen protector is fine, but the bottom where you plug in headphones and cables is awful. Mine actually have gotten ripped off accidentally.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

can my ipod5 be submerged under water like an iphone using a lifeproof case?

i am just asking if i pod can fall in a puddle of water and not get wet can i also video tape under water like other people do with the iphone 5 in its lifeproof case?
I would not recommend it. It is a lot less waterproof than the iPhone versions. A puddle is fine, underwater, no.

Front Screen Protector

Is the front screen protector connected to the rest of the case like the Fre for the iPhones or is it just a thin screen protector and acts like the Nuud?
Its strange. Its completely different from all the other lifeproof cases. The screen protector sticks to the outer rim of the case. Im sure there are a few YouTube videos that could further explain this.
