The other ones have various problems and are generally too complicated.
This one is very simple. There is a tank, a valve, and a button. You press the button and the CO2 is squirted into the bottle. End of story.
The rear compartment is also over-sized which allows you to use larger and even third party tanks.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It tastes like normal root beer. Nothing special in either a good or a bad way. Exactly what you'd expect if you cracked open a bottle of rootbeer.
The only thing you have to watch are syrup portions and carbonation levels.
Some people like it with more flavor or less and some people like it with more fizz or less. So you're going to have to dial that in yourself. You have complete control as to how much of whatever you put into the drink.
Also, using filtered water helps. Some people live in areas with funny tasting water and that isn't the fault of the sodastream if your drink tastes odd.
I would recommend this to a friend!

If you are willing to work within the limitations of the printer you can get some very nice photographic prints out of the printer. Keep in mind, it doesn't have 10 or 12 inks like the really serious printers so some colors are difficult for the printer to really nail. But it otherwise works well.
Keep in mind that wireless printers are a little touchy and tend to drop off the network for no reason. They all do it. Installing your printer drivers twice... once with USB and once with the wireless is a good idea so you can print in an emergency if don't have the time to fix the wireless.

The printer is solid and reliable. The prints are high quality. The ink situation is pretty typical of inkjet printers.
It does have a problem with some involved driver installations that are completely silly. But that is par for the course with HP these days. I think I saw one HP driver install that was over 500 megabytes a couple years ago. Which is getting up to what a full OS uses.

Conveniently charges 4 AA or AAA NiMH rechargeable batteries at the same time. 3-5 hour charge time with auto shut off to prevent overcharging and battery damage. Manufactured in China. The charger is equipped with audio and visual alerts. A red light means that charging has started, and you will hear an audible beep when charging begins. A yellow light appears when charging is 50 percent complete and charging is continuing. A green light means charging is complete, and the batteries are 100 percent full. You will hear an audible beep upon completion. If a bad battery is detected, a red X will illuminate, and the charger generates a repetitive audible beep upon detection. Audio and visual alerts:Red light - Charging has started; audible beep when charging begins. Yellow light - Charging is 50% complete and charging. Green light - Charge is complete and batteries are 100% full; audible beep upon completion. Bad Battery Detection Alert - If a bad battery is detected a red ‘x’ will illuminate; repetitive audible beep upon detection.

... You've used them all. Works as you'd imagine. Plug the batteries in, they charge, when the light goes green you can put them in your gizmos and they work until the batteries are drained. Rinse and repeat.

Keep in mind this is an inexpensive system so you have to judge it by those standards.
I got mine for about 90 dollars and for that it fills a room with loud clear sound.
Will it blow an audiophile's socks off? No. For 90 bucks that isn't happening. Bump your budget up to 3 grand and that starts to happen.
The unit sounds fine. There are no pops, clicks, or other sound artifacts. The sound is not as full as you might like but you can't ask for that at this price.

Brother MFC-J875DW printer. Can this scan directly to an email program?
I don't think it does that directly. However, if you scan something you can attach it to an email on your computer and send the email that way. It only takes an extra step. And of course all scanners can do that.

A new adapter could be as little as 20 dollars or as much as 60. The plug fix could cost you as little as 100 dollars at any local computer shop that does repairs. Or it could cost more from Toshiba. A full motherboard replacement is typically expensive enough that you're better off just getting a new laptop entirely.
If you are out of warranty, try taking it in for a free diagnostic somewhere and see what they have to say about it. Most places have pretty reasonable prices because they don't stay in business if they don't.

They will deliver but not install. I'd recommend you talk to some savvy lads in your town and ask them what they'd charge to install it for you. Then have best buy deliver and have your local fellows put it together for you.
If best buy does it, it is just going to be some teenagers doing it anyway. Just get some teenagers in your area to do it for you. Easy and cheap. They'll do it for a tip.

How much is it to fix broken usb ports?
My child owns a Acer laptop and her siblings broke both of the usb ports and she needs it for school.
Generally about 100 dollars is what that costs practically anywhere. I don't know what geek squad charges but your local computer shop will charge about 100 dollars to do that.

For example , aim . The little yellow run guy turns into the itunes icon and when i click on it , it turns / goes into itunes .
itunes is claiming those file types. During the install it probably asks you which file types you want itunes to handle. And you should be able to select only the ones you think itunes should claim. So MP3 for example.
If itunes is NOT doing that, then preventing it from doing that requires some software like Spybot Search and Destroy with the Tea Timer addon. It is a free. Anyway, Tea Timer monitors any change to the system registry and after a change is made asks you if you want to change it back. So in the case of itunes claiming things, I'd just click "no" after the install in tea timer and that would reset the file type associations back to whatever they were before itunes claimed them.

will not play a dvd
it use to play any dvd auto. now we have to choose Media, when we do it will not reconize the dvd and only gives us a choose of photo. and said dvd not reconized.
Is that a specific DVD or any DVD?
If it is a specific one then there might be a problem with it. If its all DVDs then you might have a dirty lens or something.

You can either try very carefully wiping the lens with a bit of cloth or getting a cleaning kit. Keep in mind, the lens is almost always just covered in dust. So you often only need to wipe it with a dry bit of paper towel or something. Just get the dust off and it is fine. No need for it to be perfect. It has a lot of self correcting systems that allow it operate even if dirty. It just has limits. If it is really dirty then it needs the lens wiped.

How do I retry to run the setup wizard?
You should just be able to do it by sticking the CD in and launching the setup program again.

Yes. Up to about 120 pounds is typically fine. Obviously there are limits.

wireless signal lost
I hooked this up to manufacturer instructions and had success. As the printer is in Fla we only use a couple times a year. Last week it did not work and the Laptop did not pick up a wireless single from the printer. What should I do next to reestablish a hand shake?

Reinstall the printer drivers. If it was awhile you might have done something to your network or the printer might have just forgotten its configurations. Wireless printers are inherently unstable in wireless mode.
You can fix this by getting a wireless adapter which will plug wired into the printer and then serve the printer wirelessly on your network in a more competent fashion. But that's up to you. I generally don't trust wireless printers to remain on the network without tinkering. they always have issues.
Sometimes all it takes is a power outage.
