When I had to drag the big vacuum around and move the cord from outlet to outlet, I didn't clean nearly as much as I should have. The setup I have now, a Roomba on each floor and a Dyson Animal on each floor, allows me to do the whole house by starting up the Roombas and then doing stairs, the corners, under furniture, and places that the Roomba missed with the Dc44. Even with two dogs, the floors are usually reasonably clean. The Dyson Animal is lightweight and easy to use yet it has the power of a corded vacuum. The attachments are great for getting dog hair off furniture.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What are the main differences between the dyson 44 animal and the dyson 35?

I have both the dc35 and the dc44 and there seems to be two main differences: My dc 44 came with a motorized attachment for when I use it as a hand vac--the dc35 did not. Also the dc44 has considerably more power and suction than the dc35.
