I have been trying ear buds and ear plugs but nothing could block the surround sound and talk at a loud starbucks.
I was thinking either the 299.99 BOSE noise cancellation or these. I thought, for $50.00 how could they match BOSE headphones. I would try them out to see if they work and i still had 15 days to return. (great return policy at best buy)
Nothing against the BOSE headsets, but I will not be returning these Sony headphones. With the music low and noise cancellation on I cannot hear one word or the music blasting over my head. I couldn't even hear my phone ring in front of me.
I rarely comment but this is a great product. And for 50.00, I had to brag. Great for the student.
I would recommend this to a friend!

airplane noise

how well do these work on an airplane with the surrounding noise
Even the product guide states that these are solely for low frequency areas but not set to block out voices, with the music on low I can block out every single noise at a loud starbucks. I'm sure it should work great on a plane but good luck.
