We have 2 clearstream 2v and 1 c4 here in Tennessee where cable isn't available. These appear to be the best of those stocked by Wal-Mart or micro center. Never saw them at best buy. C4 is better for uhf channels including Knoxville "2" "6" and (apparently) "8" which no longer use the vhf assignments. C4 doesn't work for vhf 7 or 10, but gives consistently better picture on virtual uhf. 2v works well on 2nd floor for all Knoxville channels and by turning the other way for holston mtn channel "39" so you may need to research whether your favorite channels are real vhf or not.
Anyway lack of cable is no big loss unless you watch msnbc CNN espn or can't get a decent 4g data plan.
I tried the c4 also in Ohio where it worked on all Cincinnati and Dayton channels with much turning and scanning. Cincinnati "5" is one which has many more weekday than evening channels so you will need to scan and edit at appropriate times.

I would recommend this to a friend!

Is this a multi directional antenna ?

The hdtv antenna suggested for my area has a color code of yellow
which is a small multi-directional antenna.
1) Is this antenna multi-directional ?
2) Is it amplified?
3)Does anyone know the color code of this antenna by chance?

my clearstreams aren't amplified.
2v is 60 mile rated but that seems optimistic at ground level even on hill. 2C is 65 mile rated but apparently it's less for vhf.

is a digital converter box required for these antennas?

You would need digital converter box to see HD on an old tv. In reality there is nothing digital in the antenna.

How many TVs can I hook this up to and use at the same time?

I chose a separate clearstream for each tv. In Principle you could feed multiple sets through cable tv splitter with some loss of signal.

2V is directional. All but 1 or 2 channels visible here are colocated transmitters on sharp's ridge but directional reception can be affected by trees and wind.

Is mast included?

I can't tell from the description if the pole/mast is included. I'd like to mount it in my attic. Do I even need a mast?

2V includes a stub mast for porch rail. It works fine set on floor or table.
