I have had several sets of Bose headsets, earbuds, and bluetooth ear pieces...and also an over-the-ear noise-canceling headset, so I was a bit skeptical about purchasing $300 earbuds. Immediately upon use, I was more than impressed. These earbuds work almost as well as the over-the-ear headsets and are comfortable to wear.
I will list my pseudo-issues with the set (these do not bother me much, but since this is a review, I will include them).
1. The battery, even though it is very light, it still dangles from my iPhone; this causes some stress because I worry about the auxiliary port. I honestly do not feel this will be an issue, but still, it is in the back of my mind while I am moving about.
2. The silicone earbuds completely fill my ear canal (more so than the original Bose earbuds), but I assume that this was the intended design in order to keep as much of the extra noise out, which helps the quietness. Nonetheless, the fit is comfortable, but just a little awkward at first.
3. If you are really into bass-heavy music, you might be disappointed with this set. The bass is not very strong at all, but all of the other features make up for the lack of bass.
4. I originally wanted a bluetooth headset so I did not have to connect, physically, to my phone. Maybe a bluetooth noise-canceling earbud will be the next Bose creation. :-)
Great purchase with which I am quite pleased.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Does best buy carry bose rechargable batteries?

The battery is not removable. You charge your entire headset the way your charge your phone. However, you can use the earbuds when the battery is off. Only problem is that you get spoiled with the noise-canceling feature and when you listen to your music using the regular "aware" setting, it sounds terrible.
