Bought this dishwasher approximately 5 weeks ago. It does a fine job washing dishes. However, it has already fallen apart. The seal between the door and the body of the dishwasher just fell off for no apparent reason. Best Buy said too bad, out of their 4 week warranty so we now have to deal with Frigidaire for help. Called them. Six button presses later, the computer said offices were closed. Will try again and let you know how service goes.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

dishwasher installation

Do you do installation for free if I buy a dishwasher from Best Buy? I'm interested in buying a Frigidaire. If it's not free, how much do you charge? And do you take away the old dishwasher from my home for free as well?

I bought my Frigidaire from Best Buy. Easy process. Free delivery and pick up of my old one. Can't remember the price of the installation but it seemed very high for the time and effort so I did it myself with the Dishwasher Kit and Power cord that I bought with the dishwasher. If you are handy, it's easy to install. Got my old one out in 10 minutes and the new one installed in 20 minutes (Installation took a bit longer than taking the old one out because I read the instructions)!

There is no electrical cord to plug this dishwasher in - is that normal? Do I have to get an electrician to wire it? No installation with delivery.

I had to buy a "Dishwasher Kit with Power Cord" for $29.99. Could not
have installed it without the kit. Power cord was included as well as the necessary plumbing fittings. Installation was a breeze with all the right parts on hand.

Frigidaire FFBD2411NS Does the pump make a noise as it drains the water?

Just trying to determine if this is normal since we have never heard one operate before. At the tail end of each drain cycle the pump makes kind of a honking sound followed by quiet over and over until the water has drained. Thank you for your response.
My washer is a tad on the noisy side but not bad. Doesn't make any
special noises when the water is pumped out. Most noise occurs during the washing cycle and I've never heard a quiet dishwasher yet.
