I purchased this recently at the sale price and what a deal. This speaker looks great, mod styling that fits in with almost any environment. My girlfriend, who is not a techie, even loves it and has started to use it when I'm not around!
The speaker also sounds excellent, with plenty of bass to drive the songs I like and yet the highs and midrange are there too. Don't expect floor standing speaker sound, but considering its size it puts out a lot of sound. Everything from classical to rock sounds good on this thing. You do lose some umph when using it on battery power, but this is not a true portable speaker anyway...so it's not an issue for me. Just having the ability to unplug it and use it away from the cord is cool though.
I highly recommend this speaker, and if you can get it on sale...even better! Considering many small portable Bluetooth speakers are in the same price range, this thing blows them all away with its booming and clear sound reproduction.
I would recommend this to a friend!

How do you know when the speaker is charged?

are you suppose to charge with the wire they give you or the USB port charger? when you charge the speaker are you suppose to leave it on or off?
Use the wall charger provided to charge the battery. The on/off button blinks slowly during charging, then stays on when fully charged. You can use the speaker while it charges, it will just take additional time to complete the charge.
