New Player to Replace an old unit

Just installed yesterday because my old Sony 5 disc unit started skipping and those CD cleaners didn't help. Like many folks on here I have 100 CDs that I still listen to, so I needed to replace my "old tech" CD player to keep that going. It has a large footprint from the 6 disc carousel, so make sure it will fit in your space. Same setup: it's only the RCA L/R jacks and the power cord if you don't want to use the optical connections etc. Sound quality and player quality appear good. No issues from the 2 hours it's been on. When you select Random [to have it choose any track from all 6 discs] it does its little 'display dance' of all the disc numbers after each song before selecting a new song. This one second delay seems unnecessary given the advanced circuitry in it, but I guess they wanted to show you the random process in live-action. But that is my favorite feature in a multi disc player, so its not a complaint, really. Remote works well too.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I liked all the features of the Zmodo, and even got it on sale.
Has pan tilt and dig zoom. It rotates the full 350 degrees which is great if you want one camera in the room to be able to see ALL of it while viewing online. I struggled to get it to connect to my wifi when i got it. We tried 3 methods that it gave you to connect. It FINALLY connected after an hour of trying. Over the next two days I set up push alerts for motion notification. It detected the movement almost all of the time, and on HIGH sensitivity it even triggered on headlights from a passing car reflecting off the wall once. The push notification came in within 30 seconds of the trigger. [when it worked]. [I downloaded the latest code version too.] Everything looked like i could deal with the quirks it had. HOWEVER*******
I noticed most every time it would reset the resolution to the lowest setting [it had 3] when i exited the app, making me set it to HD 720 when i loaded it again later. After 3 days, the resolution selection icon was 'grayed' out [not selectable] and another icon selection to access the SD card storage quit working too. Nothing helped. So out of frustration I did the little RESET button to start all over, and it did not let me connect to my wifi again. I have 9 other devices hooked to it so I know this was the only thing that balked.
I left an email at night with their support [8am to 8pm CST M-F] and then called the next morning after getting no response. After 15 minutes of music on hold waiting to get picked up I gave up. I took it back to BEST Buy the next day for a refund. I couldn't envision going through this connectivity issue every time I lost the wifi connection.

Like many others who opt for this unit, it was because I had a cabinet restriction of 66" high. We prefer a bottom freezer so we don't have to do the limbo-bend to look into the refrigerator section. The French Door configuration gives it a more modern look than the standard two-door bottom freezer that it replaced. The white model has a slightly shiny finish rather than the duller matte, so we find that appealing too. This model does NOT have the freezer pull-bar that tilts up when pulled, to open the door. Not a big deal but we were told it should have it like its bigger models [since the 30" was not on floor display]. We have it only a few days so far, but no delivery, install or initial issues to report. The icemaker took about 10 hours before it starting dropping the 1st few ice cubes. If you want a smaller footprint fridge that appears to be well-made, and like the French Door look, consider this unit.
I would recommend this to a friend!

All good but Control Panel

Picked this one for size, ratings and features. We ignored the comments about the panel's visibility, until we got it home. After squinting at the small letters and dark, no-contrast letters on the control panel , we took it back to exchange for a different brand /model that we could read.
Other than that, I would have kept it. It was very quiet.

Can I connect this to a Fisher Studio Standard amp?
it has RCA L/R jack outputs, and an optical cable. It also has a coaxial output, but no cable for that.

we are recording on verbatim Cd-r and the CD player will not play the CD copies back...can u tell me what the problem could be?????
Check the dxc390 manual on page 6 for the types of Discs supported and Onkyo's suggestions.

ONKYO 6-DISC CD PLAYER SKU 6762924 MODEL DX C390 (B) DOES THIS UNIT REQUIRE EXTERNAL SPEAKERS OR OTHER ACCESSORIES WHAT DO THEY COST? WHAT ELSE DO I NEED TO KNOW?
This unit comes with RCA jack cables and an optical cable that connect it to my Receiver / amplifier to play the CDs.

Does this cd player play wav,acc or flac, formats?
well, the manual states it supports : audio CD PCM, audio CD, MP3- so I do not see those formats mentioned.

Does this model have analog out?
yes Roger- has standard RCA L/R audio jacks.

yes. Needs to be iso 9660 Level 1 or 2, Mode 1, 2 XA Form 1- folders up to 8 deep. mp3 files must be mpeg1 , 2 audio layer 3. Sampling rate between 8 - 48 khz, bit rate 8- 320 kbps. Files need to be .mp3 or .MP3 filename extensions. One disc can have 499 files and folders [max 99 folders] - 32 characters max. This is all from the dxc390 manual.
