The control panel on my new LCRT2010ST is hard to read. Is there a light behind it?

No light in control panel. I've had the same problem with other microwave ovens over the years. I've installed an additional kitchen light. Good luck.

the interior light of the microwave seems dim

The interior of the microwave seems dimly light when the door is open, is this normal? The inside is gray and does not have as much reflective light as a white interior microwave would have, which is what I'm use to.
I've the same complaint: poor lighting. My old Sharp had a light interior. I don't know if the bulb was stronger or if the light sides reflected better. Not my only complaint. There's a reason these are on sale (everywhere).

does microwave have a filter

I've never heard of a microwave filter. Perhaps it's an internal part, but there is no filter to clean or replace, nor is one mentioned anywhere in the paperwork. Hope this helps.

micro wave runs when bottom of door is touched .

Our lg 2.0 cubic microwave was delivered by UPS yesterday. When any light upward pressure is put on the bottom of the door, the microwave starts operating. One time today, it started running when I just closed the door. Is there something we can do to fix this or do we just need to exchange the oven? It heats the food really well but the fact that it starts on its own is unsettling.
Exchange it!!! My old Sharp had similar symptoms. The "on" switch is triggered by the "hooks" on your microwave door. I nursed my beloved Sharp through several weeks if jiggling before it bit the dust. At one point it actually started running when I OPENED the door.

Height- confused!

Why does the height in specifications state 21.888? People on here say it's 13.6? Which is it?
Mine stands slightly over 13.5 inches high and is 20 inches deep when pushed up against the wall. The manual says you're not supposed to push in that tight. Maybe that 21.888 is depth.?
