After reading all the reviews I have come to the conclusion that my speakers were uniquely defective. They were horrible, so bad that I thought perhaps something was wrong my computer so I tried hooking them up to an iphone, my stereo receiver and my TV. It did not matter the source, the peripheral speakers were extremely distorted, no matter what volume!!! My $12 transistor radio sounds better than these speakers. I am warning you - listen to these speakers first before buying them. $70 may be inexpensive, but so are tin cans and a string. I returned them. Of course Best Buy is awesome and took them back... But they would even be more awesome if they removed this product from their stores.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Just got these today and rear speakers are not working at all!!!!

Why would my rear speakers not be working ?? Alls properly hooked up :/
Try checking them out on your phone. FYI: I had to return mine, my peripheral speakers were extremely distorted. Personally I think Best Buy should remove this brand from their stores.

Speaker length

Can I extend the length of the speakers by adding a 25 or 50 ft RCA audio cable to each pair?
I bought these speakers and they were horrible, but I have since discovered that I got a defective batch. The answer is yes, but you will need to make sure that you are adding equal lengths of speaker wire to all of your peripheral speakers to ensure proper balance. I did this with the Yahama system I own today. I am envious that your logitech speakers work. I hope they last a long time for you.
