Bought this as a gift for my mom. She has absolutely loved it and wears it without hesitation. I purchased the "Plum" colored Fitbit and the color is really nice.

I went against the grain and purchased this product after reading the negatives reviews. To my surprise, I was happy with the product. I say was because recently, after a bit more than a month, the receiver has begun to malfunction. It keeps kicking my Direct Tv receiver off line and will only work again after I turn off all power and restart it again. It's becoming very mundane and tideous to do this so often. I will think twice about purchasing any Sony product again as they have been no help either once I called them. It was a big too bad for you.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have an old Sony surround system DAV-HDX589W, will this receiver work with my speakers?
I would suggest not purchasing the item at all. It stopped working in just over a month and I sent it back to have to it repaired under the warranty. It is now almost 2 months later and I have yet to receive my receiver back

Pro logic light
Since my cable box only has 1 hdmi output I'm unable to listen/watch tv thru tv it automatically turns unit on. I don't need to watch everything thru the receiver. I'm currently unable to run TV HD programs in surround using Sony's guide. The pro logic light does not come on. I've order a hdmi splitter so I can connect the cable to both TV, for local news etc., and the receiver for movies etc. Anyone else having this problem

connections
I need to connect my smart TV and a CD player and maybe another audio input. Output to 2 speakers. Does this have all those inputs? I've forgotten all my old A/V knowledge.
