I bought this item due to Dyson usually being called the best vacuum company but I have come to find out that there expensive price isn't worth it. To put it in perspective Dyson says on their webiste that the vacuum has 270AW (air watts/suction) while the Shark Powered Lift Away Rotator has 270AW for half the price! Even the new Dyson Big Ball Cinetic has less suction (180AW). If you need a vacuum I don't recommend this due to the outrageous price they give instead I would get a Shark.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The product is easy to use and is very intelligent. However, the product has some sound issues when it'll transfer to random sounds that computers make. I would recommend this product to anyone that has the previous Apple TV

The monitor is very well made but the issue I have most with it is the the colors change on it. Orang and yellow are the ones that it usually has issues with but bedsides that it's a great monitor.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Pictures mixed up?!
The preview pix on this page show two different heads. Some have lights at the center, but others have lights along the front edge. So which one's right?! I doubt the machine comes with both.
It does just ask the people at best buy or look at the back of the box (to make sure it does) On it for carpet and the other is for hard floors I'm almost positive that it comes with both and the motor head are VERY useful.

They are very similar but the Pet Turbo Brush is newer and has a little more power to clean things with also picks more hair up I use it for my stairs and couches due to my dogs.

You should get then Shark Rocket Powerhead it has a brush specifically for wood/hard floors.

Where is the filter in this vacuum?
If you take of the canister from the vacuum you should see a cylinder like shape and that's the filter.

I purchased a Shark Rotator Life-away Vacuum (Model NV 50231 Series XCD 500) from Bed, Bath and Beyond, located on 41st and Meridian St. on Puyallup, WA 98373, on June 3, 2013. My granddaughter is very interested in purchashing the same vacuum but so many Shark products on the market today I am having a problem locating one. I would appreciate some assistance.

Will their be belts available if a belt breaks and I need to replace one?
Usually they won't break but if it does I'm almost positive they sell it at Sharks website I don't think they sell it at Best Buy.

Does this vacuum have an adjustable height function for the brush for plush carpeting
No it doesn't, but the newer model that Shark sells now does if you really do need one that adjusts.

differences between the Shark NV501 & NV360?
I am ready to purchase a new vacuum & I want a Shark.
What are the differences, feature-wise, between the Shark NV501 & the NV360? I want to make a wise decision.

The NV360 is one of the older models, however, it has similar suction to NV501 and does most things the NV360 does. If your looking for a lighter vacuum the NV501 is the way to go and I'm pretty sure that it has a more powerful brush also both can clean hard floors. The cheaper one is the NV360 since it is an older model but I would recommend the NV501 since it is more up to date.
