How to hook up to dvr and Flat screen TV

I have an Insignia flat screen 1080 HD TV as well as an AT&T U verse DVR. How do I hook up the Toshiba VCR/DVD to these products?

You will need TWO connector cables with red, white, yellow ends; then, connect ONE front cable box to vcr at IN position; then, connect the SECOND connector cable from vcr at OUT position to the tv at AV 2 connection. Hope this helps!!

Can I program ahead to record a program on VHS/VCR?

My former VCR allowed me to program TV shows in the morning that would then record for evening viewing. Does this work the same?

Yes, you can record anytime. Records great! THE BEST BUY we've found in a vcr/dvd!! Be sure to get an extra connector cable to connect from cable box to vcr, in IN position; and another connect from tv to vcr in OUT position... if you connect it this way, it will perform perfectly!! Also, recommend the 4 yr warranty, cheap way to guarantee that BEST BUY will replace it if it breaks down during 4 yr period.

Of course... it plays perfectly!

having trouble hooking up dvd/vch to tv I have a cable box

You will need 2 - connector cables, ONE- for connecting from cable box to dvd/vcr IN position; TWO- for connecting from vcr/dvd OUT position to tv in AV position. Hope this helps?!? Ours records & plays GREAT! This is "how" we hooked up our dvd/vcr.

Why won't my VCR/DVD tape correctly?

Have a Toshiba VCR/DVD recorder/player Mod#SD-V296-K-T4
All of a sudden it will only record for 40 to 50 minutes. It used to record for as long as I needed until I shut it off. Most shows are an hour- It just totally shuts off before the end of the show? I can't tape any movies now. What happened?

You may be pressing the timer when setting it to record? When you press the RECORD button more than one time, it sets a timer for recording. Hope this helps?

involved in a fire unit wasn't involved but manual burned don't know how to record now I've tried.

What do I do to record its a dr430?
