This camera has a good picture and easy mounting. However, the electronic setup is not always as easy as stated. I had to update the camera x 2, I had to update the router. The range for the wireless is lacking terribly. I have wound up just installing the two I purchased into the spare ports on the wireless router. They cover the area I need really well. I would have returned them, but I got them on a remarkable sale. If at full price, I would have expected more.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

can you view camera on android smartphones?

also does signing up to dlink help
Yes, you can view your camera on your smartphone. You have to get the mydlink lite for it to work.
