After using these for a few months now, I am extremely happy with my purchase. Honestly these are the best sounding headsets I've ever had so far.
The bass is great and not overpowered. The sound is very very crisp and you can hear every angle.
For those who are planning on getting these headsets, they also include an extra cable for mobile use and you will still get great sound.
Comfort wise...VERY COMFORTABLE. I was worried since previous turtle beaches were very uncomfortable after long periods of gaming. It is memory foam so it keeps a nice snug fit.
GREAT for canceling out sound. Not just outside sound, but also from the headset. As in if you like your sound LOUD, it cancels out the sound so others can't hear it.
There are 4 settings for game volume options. I would suggest setting 3. It has treble and bass boost. If you just want bass boost, then setting 2 will fit what you need. I personally just like balance between the two.
DON'T LISTEN TO THE BAD REVIEWS. "It's not 7.1 surround sound!" It is. "Terrible sound quality!" It's actually the best I've heard. Either they did something wrong or they had it shipped to them. (I never have electronics shipped to me. Too many risks)
All in all, to end this review, I highly recommend these headsets to anyone either for gaming, music, or both.

which xbox one turtle beach headphones should I buy for 14 yr old son?
There are several to choose from. He said wireless. He plays modern warfare.
I would recommend the XO 7 Pro. They are $160 and are now on sale for $125. Here's my personal review on them...
