I recently went to Windows 10 and needed an inexpensive storage device with decent capacity to back up important files just in case. This did the trick with no problems. Not the fastest flash drive I've ever used, but for the price I won't complain. One thing puzzles me, though. I paid $29.99 for this drive at my local BB, yet it's listed on the web site at $99.99. What gives?
I would recommend this to a friend!

116gb available
The computer says there are only 116gb available out of the 128gb, This is 12gb gone! 12gb of what?? Even after deleting the prog files it comes with, it is still 116, what gives??
A gigabyte is actually 1,024 megabytes, but most drive manufacturers round it down to an even 1,000 megs, making a one terabyte drive's true capacity actually closer to 930 megabytes, and so on. It's a bit deceptive, but it's standard practice throughout the industry.

Can this drive be used to do system image backup for windows 7
Yes, as long as the size of the image doesn't exceed the capacity of the drive.
