4 ohms receiver?

My brother has two 100 watts 6 ohms nominal; 200 watts 4 ohms speakers. He claimed he needed a 4 ohm receiver. I cannot find a receiver listed as 4 ohms. Would this receiver work? Would it hinder the sound? or is there a better choice?
Just remember that in the real world the speaker impeadance varies greatly over the frequency range of the speaker. In general 4 ohms is a greater load on the amplifier that will tax the design capability of the amp. Good luck trying to find any information what the amp rating is at 4 ohms. Manufactures tend to be reluctant to publish ratings at the extreme.
