We have had this fridge for about a year. Within 24 hours we started having problems with the fan being loud. You could hear it from the second floor the next morning. Then within 2 months we had to call the company and have them come out and fix the ice maker. Then it broke about 4 months later so they had to come out again. Now it is leaking again from the ice maker and it is ruining our hardwood floors and it has been a year. Read the reviews carefully before purchasing. We are looking at buying a different fridge. Frigidaire does not make good french door fridges and over time the technician said the drawers will come off the hinge. He said to be nice and gentle with the bottom drawer because it is 500 dollars a pop to fix once the waranty runs out. It is a little concerning how many things break with Frigidaire over and over again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

CORRECT TEMPERATURE.......HOW LONG MUST I WAIT????

After initial installation, how long should it be before the freezer temperature reaches 0 degrees and the refrigerator temperature reaches 37 degrees? Called Best Buy and they said we need to allow at least 12 hours!!!!!!!!!!!????????? REALLY? What is a person supposed to do with the food that was in their old refrigerator/freezer (which we no longer have, had the installers remove it for us) during this 12 hours? My house is cooler than the new refrigerator after 6 hours of being plugged in, the freezer is at 78 and the fridge is at 84. Food would spoil if I put it in this new fridge. If it is normal that it will take 12 hours or so to get to the appropriate temperatures then this information NEEDS to be told to the person buying the product so they can prepare to have ice chests for their food or maybe neighbors that would help with storing the food in their refrigerators. THIS IS RIDICULOUS!
Return the fridge. The temperature should have worked within hours of having it installed.

Just to save you the trouble, do not consider Frigidaire a good fridge company in general. Their stuff breaks often. We have had the same fridge you purchased for a year now and I am literally on the phone right now with them on hold which is a year later and it is still breaking. We have had different service repair companies out here several times dealing with stuff breaking on this fridge throughout this past year. Return it and get a different one from a different company. If you do not want to go through the trouble think about this: Each time something breaks you have a goofed up fridge for 4-5 days each time they say they will send someone and then if they have to order a part you have to wait another week to 2 weeks. Then add the days you have to take off to be present when they come to see the fridge each time. It translates to just get a different fridge with a different company.
