... you have a PS4, PS3, and Vita because of the "free games." Ever since online multiplayer required a PS Plus membership, the Instant Game Collection has been terrible compared to before the requirement. Think of it as triple-dipping to make the disappointment and hurt less.
... you play online multiplayer on the PS4. If you're on PS3 and/or Vita only, then lucky you, but why are you even buying a PS Plus membership? (see below)
... you want additional discounts on games. This is where the membership CAN pay for itself. You get special PS Plus members-only sales/discounts AND you get to keep the game (because it's a purchase and not a monthly freebie) even after your PS Plus membership expires. The only problem is hard drive space and zero chance for trading in or selling a game that makes you throw controllers.
I have a PS4, PS3, and Vita, play online multiplayer games every day, and love discounts (digital or physical, whichever is cheaper is fine), so this PS Plus membership is geared towards someone like me.
I would recommend this to a friend!

If you're late to the Vita game like me (I got my Vita last November 2015), then you probably haven't played the first 2 games of this series. And, that's OK. This third game is perfectly playable on its own. It's like a shooter with puzzles and a lot of dialogue. Playing this one made me look for the 2 older Danganronpa games.
Not to give away spoilers, but hey, he's already on the game cover so I guess I'm not spoiling much, but I found the bear to be insanely entertaining.

Persona 4: Dancing All Night - Disco Fever Edition - PS Vita
Teenage mega-idol Rise Kujikawa has returned to the city to restart her show business career. While she's home, a weird video appears on the Internet and anyone who watches it disappears, including the members of Rise's junior idol group, the Kanamin Kitchen. The Investigation team is up to the task of bringing home the missing group, and they mount a rescue mission. However, they soon discover Shadows from the Midnight Channel, which don't respond to the Investigation team's abilities at all. For some reason, the only way to defeat the Shadows is to dance. Get ready to arm yourself with the coolest style and slickest shoes, and dance the night away.Leave the RPG elements at home and get your dancing shoes on with Persona 4: Dancing All Night. One of My Favorite Collector's Edition Sets

This Disco Fever Edition is one of my favorites of all the collector's edition games I've bought. Why? Because of the carrying pouch. It's large enough to use for other purposes besides hauling my Vita. Some collector's editions include items that are useless to me - huge statues, art book, stickers, etc; I could go on. The keychain is cute and hefty, but it will go unused because it will get rekt by the amount of keys that I carry daily. The Vita skin (front face only) was easy to apply and a nice, dark color. Also, the wallpapers, DLC costumes, and bonus song were easy to download. The game is pretty fun and it's different from the shooters, RPGs, or visual novels with which I'm familiar. I'm not so great at rhythm games (Guitar Hero... spaz out time), but this one is OK. All in all, the pouch, keychain, and skin are worth it to me to get the Disco Edition instead of the game by itself.
NOTE: The outer box of this set is flimsy, like a thin cardboard, so hopefully if you need to have yours shipped, it won't be crushed. And, the outer box is a square shape, so you might have trouble storing this on a DVD/BR shelf along with your other games.

If I get it shipped to me is it already activated or do I have to get it activated? If so where do I go to get it activated?
It is already activated once it is shipped. You have to rub off the silver security strip to get the code.
