What's great about it: Amazing full range of sound, Very comfortable, Very stylish without being garish
I had gone into the store set on purchasing the Bowers and Wilkins P5 headphones. Never mind the Beats, Sony, and other overpriced consumer candy. I thought at the time that I knew what I wanted.
I am a producer, DJ and audiophile, and I brought with me some lossless and some 320 Kbps CBR MP3 tracks to test with. I enjoy, work with, and mix all sorts of music - psybient, ambient, progressive trance, hip hop, post-rock, progressive rock, classic rock, and classical music. I do have a proper set of monitor/reference speakers and headphones, but I was wanting something that I could use when I was just wanting to enjoy music.
I tested the aforementioned P5 headphones and was not impressed with them. They lacked the vibrancy I desire at all levels, and they were especially (and surprisingly) lacking in the mids and lows (very flat and required messy and ever-changing EQ settings to sound anything close to good). I had tried the Bowers and Wilkins P7 headphones and thought the P5 would sound somewhere near as great, but I was mistaken with that assumption.
My everyday headphones were the Bose QC15 which do a great job at cancelling out noise and a pretty good job at producing great sound with flat or no EQ applied, but they did not handle the lowest lows or the highest highs as well as I would have liked. They are great when flying or wanting to listen to music in very noisy areas, but I wanted something better for general use and I grew tired of recharging batteries once a week.
Enter the happy surprise of discovering these headphones! The Sennheiser Momentum headphones are just awesome. They were the best sub-$500 headphones (a self-imposed limit since I already spend enough on production and DJ paraphernalia) I have had the pleasure of using. They are near perfect at producing very full and vibrant sound from the highest highs to the lowest lows with every flavor of music I work with and listen to using flat or no EQ, and the fit of the headphones over my (relatively large) ears provides for great sound isolation. They are exceptionally comfortable when listening for hours on end. The remote and mic work perfect with all three of my iDevices (iPhone 5, iPad 3, iPod Classic) and my Macs (late 2012 MBP and iMac). Note that there is a second cable sans mic+remote if you have non-Apple devices. They appear to be well-constructed with sturdy connections, quality materials, and smooth motion of the parts that do move. The case they come with is a bit bulky but it appears it would protect the headphones very well with most modest drops and such. And they are not flashy or in any other way garish - they just look like nice headphones if quality classic design matters to you.
If you are considering any other headphones within the price range of these, I strongly recommend you head into a Best Buy store, go on over to the Magnolia section and give these a try. Or, just order them now. You will not be disappointed.
This product has... Perfect fit, Stylish, great sound isolation, great build quality, classic design, amazing full range of sound reproduction

Does NOT Work With OS X 10.9 (Mavericks)

What's great about it: Inexpensive
What's not so great: Is NOT Generally Compatible With OS X, Gets Very Warm, Very Stiff and Relatively Short Cable
As others have indicated, this enclosure will not work with OS X 10.9. It will connect, disconnect, and get stuck in some sort of loop where it never connects again. I tried the USB 2 trick but that was not successful, and neither was restarting with it remaining connected. So, since the product claims to be generally compatible with OS X but is not, and since Dynex provides no way to make it compatible with the latest version of OS X despite the fact that developers could test for months upon months before releasing any hardware or software for OS X 10.9, I have taken away two stars.
That being said, I plugged it into my work computer running Windows 7 to fix and format it and wipe it (via CMD, invoke: cipher /w:DriveLetter:\), and all is well on the Windows front. I also tested it on the latest release of the horrendous Windows 8 and it works there, too. I am using an old MBP's SATA 6 Hybrid 7200 RPM HDD to build my sister and niece a portable drive full of movies and music and for whatever else they want to put on it. So, it works for Windows, it's meant to be used by my sister and niece that have a Windows 8 PC, and that is what matters.
However, it really would have been nice to format it as exFAT and secure wipe using Disk Utility on one of my Macs and transfer files to it that way rather than do all that using my work Windows 7 laptop and a bunch of transfers from my NAS. It also would have been nice to test the transfer rate as I had planned on using rsync to put stuff on it... Oh well.
Summary: If you're using Windows, it's a good, inexpensive enclosure. If you keep your version of OS X current, then this is not a product you want to get even if it's just to see if I and all the other reviewers are wrong. I cannot attest to the actual transfer rate using SuperSpeed USB 3 it claims to support, so caveat emptor there...
Tip: It's aluminum and may dissipate heat to some degree. I use the soft (fuzzy) side of self-adhesive Velcro strips to add a little bit of padding to the bottom of it (it has several relatively sharp edges that may scrape up a desk if moved around) and maybe add a little extra space for cooler air to move around all sides of the enclosure. It still gets really warm, but not incredibly hot after a few hours of continuous use.

What's great about it: It really does protect the screen from scratches.
What's not so great: It DOES NOT work well with cases/bumpers.
Don't believe the hype! In this case, you do not get what you pay for (or maybe in some twisted way you do at this price).
I have gone through two of these since September 2010. It DOES NOT stay bubble-free if you use a case or bumper and it will eventually begin to peel off. It loves to attract and keep dust and oils/grease from your fingers.
My second time around I even bought what ZAGG called a "case safe" invisibleSHIELD. It was not "case safe" as it began to bubble and peel after just two days. Additionally, ZAGG did not honor their so-called "lifetime warranty" with my first invisibleSHIELD even though I registered my product.
Spending $20+ on a screen protector is just plain nuts anyway. Get a multi-pack of cheap protectors and live with replacing them every now and then. Or, take care of your phone, don't scratch the screen and clean it every now and then while it is turned off with a little water and microfiber cloth.

Is this product compatible with MAC with USB 3.0?

No. Find another enclosure. I suggest one from Anker if a low price matters. Otherwise, pay more and get a better enclosure.
