Thank God we have not had the problems some of the others have. However, I did purchase this refrigerator for many reasons, but mainly for the crushed ice feature. My husband has medical issues and crushed ice is what he can eat by mouth. Know that you will still have to buy ice. The ice maker makes a very small amount of ice and is very slow to rebound. It certainly is not for a family who likes cold drinks.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Is this model the most current model ? Designed and modified for this yr?
I would think so. We have had it less than 2 months
