What's great about it: Reliability, data rates

I bought this for my wife's Acer netbook because of it's 5GHz capability. There are several 2.4GHz WiFi networks, as well as cordless phones and microwaves within a football field sized area, so we needed to be able to use the 5GHz bandwidth.
The reason I give it 4 out of 5 is for two reasons.
1. It's big; it sticks out almost 3 in (I attribute that to needing two antennae/radios for dual bands)
2. Netgear's consumer tech support is not competent. After upgrading to Win 8.1 the device stopped seeing the 5GHz band. Their initial response was to replace the device, when they knew, and later stated that, it was a confirmed software issue. The issue was with Microsoft's built in drivers and not Netgear's. Once I switched to Netgear's drivers it worked fine.

What's great about it: Reliable connection
What's not so great: Slow speeds!
If you want an extender just so you can get internet throughout your house or apartment, then this will do the job. If you do any kind of video, gaming, or photography, then this is NOT for you. It is 2.4GHz band only and has very slow transfer speeds and high latency. I replaced it after three days with a Netgear dual band extender and now I am getting twice the throughput. I am returning this one. It is NOT worth the $100.00 price tag.

What's great about it: Android OS (ICS), Easy to set up. Snappy performance. Great selection of apps. MicroSD slot.
What's not so great: Does not connect to Google Play (yet)
I've seen other reviews saying how hard this is to set up, or small things like light leakage through the USB and charging ports. Or how hard it is to load apps.
That is nit picking. This snappy little tablet has some serious horse power under the hood. It's snappier than my Galaxy Tab 10.1 I used to own. As for the light leakage through the the USB, power, and audio ports. So what. It's only noticeable if you look for it. Otherwise, ignore it. It's not made to be water proof, just drop resistant. I would recommend getting a screen protector, because the screen is not made from Gorilla Glass.
As for apps...the tablet comes with an excellent set pre-installed. If you want to download more, you can go through the Amazon App store. You can also side load the apps as well via USB. Fuhu is in the process of getting it certified by Google so it can connect to Google Play.
The MicroSD slot is awesome. It recognizes up to 32GB. I've loaded up our daughter's favorite movies on to the card. She uses it so much, that she doesn't ask me to use my tablet anymore.
This product is... responsive touch screen, Good sound quality, easy to set up, lightning fast, Variety of apps available, A nice compact size, Sharp graphics, Easy to navigate, Great screen size, Comfortable to hold

I got this to replace an old Linksys modem. It was easy to install. It took longer to call Cox to give them the new modem info and wait for it to synch, than it did for me to unbox it and hook it up.
Once synched with Cox, I noticed a 50% increase in download speed, and 200% increase in upload speed.
There is ONE drawback. It doesn't match my Linksys/Cisco router it's sitting next to... I guess you can win them all. LOL.

What's great about it: Ample storage space at a decent price
What's not so great: heat build up.
I bought the Seagate 750GB for storing photos. The entire time I used it for primary storage I have never had a problem with it. In fact I now use it as a back up to my 3TB NAS. You get lots of storage space for the price.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Light weight, sharp photos, image stablization
What's not so great: None that I've found.
The is an excellent lens for the price. If you are looking at getting an image stablized lens this is a good choice. This lens has been in Canon's inventory for a while, and I expect it to remain that way. I've used this lens to photograph my daughter as well as outdoors and macro shooting. It's a great all around zoom for everyday use.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Wil it work?
Will the ranger extender work with Verizon Fios Actiontec MI424WR router?
Yes. This will work with any Wireless-N router. However, the SR10000 is single band 2.4GHz so your throughput between the extender and the router will be slow. Get the SR25000 or another dual band extender for faster throughput.

I'm want to extend coverage 250 feet. I don't know how to convert from 10,000 square feet. Will it reach that far?
Yes. 10,000 sq/ft is 100ft x 100ft or 250ft x 40ft, or 200ft x 50ft. However, I would not get the SR10000, I would get the SR25000. The SR25000 is dual band which will give you faster throughput if you have a dual band router.
