I tried the ROKU stick but the WIFI signal was too weak to stream properly. I had a tough time just logging in. The ROKU 3 gives you the option of WIFI or Ethernet. I hooked up by Ethernet and it works great. Setup is a little tricky but it's easy once you get everything figured out. This was my first streaming device.
I would recommend this to a friend!

number of devices needed

Do I have to buy one of these devices for every tv in the house (ex- 4 TV's need 4 roku devices)
Yes or you can unplug and move to the other TV. Be sure to reset Ethernet connection.
