Transfer speed may vary on what type of router is used for local network. But I bet speed can't compare with USB connected speed. Other than that, it does what it supposed to.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Tough built S5 so far

I had a choice to make between S5 active or Note 4 (rugged bezel or metal-like bezel). Built-wise S5 active is durable, but Note 4 has the good look. So far S5 active shows it can withstand the most. I am satisfied with my choice.
I would recommend this to a friend!

will it work outside united states on other carriers?

Yes if this HTC one M7 is unlocked. If not, you'll have to unlock it in order to use it overseas. And price you see is probably with 2year contract.
