no but you can purchase the easy to use apricorn software at bestbuy to clone your current system and its very cheap in price too.

Can it be used as a dvr's hard drive?

yes but wouldn't recommend it because HDD's are cheaper and have bigger storage capacity than SSD's the only benefit to use an SSD would be that it boots up faster and also when watching a recorded program you wont see any difference in picture quality.

yes all SSD's can installed on laptops or desktops just be sure to purchase the apricorn software at bestbuy to clone your existing system unless your building a new computer which then you'll need to buy a new product key.

1 answer can this be installed in a asus cm6630? and does it come with a software trasnfer ?

The software i search is like the samsung have to be able to transfer my windows 7 of my hard disk to this ssd easily?
yes you can install it on your cm6630 and the easiest software to use to clone your system is the apricorn and it comes with the cable needed to clone (transfer) sold at bestbuy too.
