What's great about it: You can control Volume and amount of bass
What's not so great: Nothing
Best subwoofer I have owned and I have four of them. Really works great! Highly recommend this unit

Impedance matching?

Since it's amplified and using the RCA jack, do I still need to be concerned with matching impedance with my receiver?
No, it is an audio signal input.
