So this TV is the only 4K panel I've owned so far, I certainly considered the OLED TV but for half it's cost this honestly is a great TV. Obviously when you're looking at the higher price brackets OLED becomes part of the discussion but in my case this TV is going to do fine for a couple years until OLED is a bit further along. I'd really like to test out the HDR features that are defining this year's high end models but the HDR content is very scare at the moment. I may update this review at a later time when I can ascertain the quality difference and if it's worth it.
WEBOS3 is far smoother than I imagined having never owned a smart TV. Honestly I'll probably never use the smart features as the first thing hooked to this monster was a high end HTC (Home Theater PC) so those goodies are rendered moot for me, however I did poke around them and they ran perfectly with no hang ups so for people are going to use the Netflix app and it's kin don't be concerned.
The set did come with the color tone set to a low warm by default so if your picture has a yellow hue to it go into the expert settings and fiddle with the temperature setting. A simple fix, but odd to see one enabled as a default setting. If you're too lazy to properly calibrate the thing then Cinema mode is probably the best default but it really is rewarding to properly calibrate a panel.
All in all I'm happy with my purchase, sure you could get the much cheaper Samsung panel and I'm sure the picture is great for some people, but the far superior 4K upscaling combined with true 120hz panel with up to 240hz "Tru motion" make this my favorite TV purchase BY FAR that I've ever made. You won't be sorry.

I've owned both the Surface Pro 1 and 2 and currently own the 1st generation Surface RT. Out of them all this is by far the best offering Microsoft has made to the hardware world. The screen is crisp and clear, it isn't widescreen so combine than with the 12" screen gives you more vertical room to do work on. It's essentially like holding a legal pad #not that much heavier than one either#.
The Pro 3 is lighter and thinner than a Macbook Air #or iPhone 4s for that matter# which means holding it isn't really that tiring. The kickstand is pressurized so you can prop it up at nearly any angle you wish.
The pen input is amazing, the parallax #distance between the pen tip and where the "ink" begins# is so small that the accuracy of writing is almost unreal. Clicking the pen once automatically opens OneNote #even when the device is asleep# and clicking it twice takes a screenshot that you can crop and drop into OneNote which is super handy.
The new Type Cover is also amazing, the trackpad is so much improved over the Pro 1 and 2 it's ridiculous. Two finger swipe and pinch to zoom work pretty much flawlessly.
Also if you don't think this will work for professional applications you are sadly mistaken, the i5 processor flys when combined with which ever RAM and SSD combo you go with. PhotoShop, Office, QuickBooks, gaming, whatever. It goes.
Battery life is great, 8 to 9 hours when doing general things like web browsing, email, and office work. When you start to do heavier task the battery life is less obviously. Gaming really pits a strain on it but you can still get a good 4 hours of gaming before reaching for the charger.
I think I hit a lot of the key points that should be made, I will say this though, a lot of reviewers don't tale into account what the average person uses the computer for. Many point out repeatedly that typing blogs and professional websites requires a better keyboard. Sure, I can accept that, however most people don't do this.i type papers, play games and browse the web but I want something very portable that gives me a full operating system to do with what I want. To me the Surface Pro 3 fits that bill better than anything I could have ever hoped for.

What's great about it: Functionality, quickness, free skydrive, durable
What's not so great: a little bulky, camera could be better
So I purchased the Surface Pro 2 to replace my 1st generation Surface Pro and the difference has been night and day so far. I only had one real complain about the first one; the battery life. On the first gen I could make it through an 8 hour work day with relative ease however when I moved on to more intensive tasks (gaming, photo/video editing, etc) the battery life dropped to about 2 to 3 hours. The Surface Pro 2s battery is more than 2x as efficient as the first gen. Over 6 hours of continuous video streaming and just doing basic work? 10 to 12 hours easy. The dual phase kickstand is also a nice addition, it definitely makes it easier to type with in your lap. The fact that I can use a tablet to accomplish everything I want to do and more without being limited in my multitasking and functionality is fantastic. I would literally recommend this to device to anyone looking for a sturdy, fast laptop substitute or a tablet with the power to do pretty much whatever you throw at it; be it Photoshop, Facebook, or both at the same time.

What kind of adapter does it need?

In the overview, it states it requires an adapter. What kind of adapter is it referring to? USB? Is there a specific adapter for the surface pro 3 or does it not matter?
Well for Ethernet you need a USB to Ethernet adapter. If you want to connect to an external display you need a mini display port adapter to your preferred video input.

Can you connect a printer thru the usb port?

Yes, not a problem. You can also hook one up via wireless but if you want to run a hard line go right ahead.
