extremely nice looking! had to take the 1st one back immediately due to the scanner not working, but overall very nice, and being able to "E-Print" is great! just make sure you get the insurance.

What's great about it: Macros
What's not so great: set-up
Depending on your set-up this can take a very long time to set-up, even if you own Harmony remotes you may find tweaking your personal settings time consuming. I have my Samsung Tv, air conditioner, Led light strips(located behind tv), computer, xbox, and Hue lights connected with different ways to be activated in different conditions. You can also set at what speeds things switch on. I don't need the remote to these items no more.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: plenty of uses
What's not so great: hdmi useless
Long time user of slingbox products (2006 or 2007) i use slingbox to view my cable tv (bedroom) on my living room tv (no cable box on that tv), on my tab and my galaxy s4. the quality of streaming you will receive is reliant on your internet speed and your internet speed fluctuations, if you can maximize and stabilize these two things, you will have a flawless connection. in my apartment i receive internet speeds of 34/6 and it never fluctuates, so my connection from my bedroom cable box to my living room tv never glitches/ buffers, i keep the picture setting on best HD, and it works flawless. At work i get consistently strong LTE reception by t-mobile, so watching tv on my gs4 and tablet is never an issue. Great product for those with the proper set-ups.

What's great about it: fast...

wanted to stabilize my fluctuating internet speeds and use a 5ghz network, and this adapter succeeded on both fronts. on speed test my internet speed is a consistent 34/6 it does not budge through the whole test! it is a flat line straight through the speed test and i pay for 30/5, and my laptop now operates on 5ghz without a hiccup! get one!

What's great about it: very strong speeds
What's not so great: can not 2.5 and 5ghz at the same time. updates only through cable provider. average design.
if you are having a issue with this unit i strongly suggest you check your clients and/or your internet provider. my download speeds (speaking only towards wireless connections during this review) when using this Modem at first were constantly fluctuating, i had a strong feeling it was my laptop as other clients (smart phones, tablets) were keeping consistent download speeds, i searched and applied updated drivers which did not remedy my speed issues, and since my drivers/wlan card did not support a 5ghz network i decided to get a usb wifi adapter, best move i made could have made, my speed test do not budge from 34/6, straight through the speed test! does not drop!, and i pay for 30/5. i run my slingbox 500 from my bedroom cable box to my living room tv without even one glitch or buffer, while watching tv all day, this modem does not drop the speed!. I strongly recommend running this on the 5ghz network setting, which brings me to my only major gripe that this modem can not run 2.4 and 5 ghz simultaneously, which means older clients may have to be hardwired or other means of getting them connected.

Does it stream 5.1 sound when connected through HDMI port?
I know if I connect through RCA, the sound will be stereo 2.0, but if it connects through HDMI port, will it stream 5.1 sound, if available?
good luck with hdmi, most cable companies will not let you stream their content threw it. if you do a google search you will be hard pressed to find a cable company that does

How would one watch on another tv, rather than an iPad?
i use my 55inch samsung tv as my computer monitor, so you would watch through the browser, like you would on a computer/laptop.
