What's great about it: Robust and easy to mount.
What's not so great: Cost, almost as much as the TV
Man, these little full motion mounts are expensive, but is exactly the right product. Metal, robust and mounts easily. The mounting instructions leave a little to be desired, not real clear.
I would recommend this to a friend!

does sanus make a full-motion wall mount for 40" flat panel TVs?

Yes they do make a mount to fit a 40: flat panel but you have to be careful. I bought a 37" LG and the Sanus mount for "TV's up to 40"" did not fit the LG 37". The hole pattern on the back of the TV did not match the hole pattern on the Sanus mount. I had to buy the next size up Sanus > 45" mount for the 37 LG to fit the Sanus bracket.
