What's great about it: Functionality, size, weight, price
Styluses have come a long way since the times of the ancient Romans, Greeks and Egyptians. This modern stylus is sleek, has clean lines, and weighs virtually nothing. It also feels great as you hold it during use. The nib at the tip gives just enough to make contact between the stylus and the touch-screen smooth. It is true that this stylus contains no electronic components that enable it to mimic the colorful, nuanced, artistic strokes of a master's paint brush, but it effectively does what a basic stylus does, whether it involves swiping, double clicking or typing. If that's what you're looking for, you've found the right instrument.

What's great about it: Very functional
What's not so great: Product design should be improved
This iPad Air case fully protects its precious cargo from bumps, drops, scrapes and the inevitable, brief, accidental exposure to liquid of some kind.
This case has the look of military equipment. You have to like that look to buy this product.
But why not enhance that look by making this case look even more like something you'd see in the hands of a Klingon warrior, or one of the marines in Aliens or Predator?
I'm 61 years old, but this case comes very close to being "too serious." I say have a little fun. After all, the iPad Air already looks like something you'd find in a summer blockbuster sci-fi movie. I say take that look and run with it!

The end opposite the rubber tip looks like a metal clicker or pen or something. Is the rubber tip retractable?

Also, are there rubber tip replacements for this model?
The rubber tip is not retractable. I don't know whether replacement tips are available.

Can you use this Stylus withy the rubber tip to sign your name for a charge purchase?

I've never tried to use it that way. The rubber tip is not like the tip of a rollerball ink pen. This stylus is good for tapping and swiping, and short, unsustained contact with the touch-screen. I doubt whether it would work effectively as a writing instrument, but since it is relatively inexpensive, it is worth a try. If it fails at this task, it can still be used to tap and swipe on your tablet or smart phone.

How do you use the camera function without removing the case?

There's a small flap on the rear corner of the case. That flap can be disengaged and moved to the side when the camera is being used. After the camera is used, the flap can be easily returned to its original position, effectively protecting the iPad Air.
