I initially purchased this without opting for the type cover. Only to return two days later to pick it up. The cover and the addition of the STM Dux case (purchased elsewhere Amazong) completes the package. I had some trouble with the pen but Microsoft rectified that problem quickly and efficiently.
This machine truly is a powerhouse full desktop replacement that is ultra portable. Every time I pick it up I feel as though I am holding a bit of future technology. It's quite astonishing that so much processing power can be packed into such a small and light (even with the case attached) one-handed device. This replaces a maxed out Dell that was starting to show its age but it also has to compete with a 1-month old Asus desktop (purchased at BB) and it blows both away in power. It's like witchcraft.

When I picked up my SP3, the associate asked me if I wanted to get the type cover as well. I declined thinking I would use my bluetooth keyboard and the pen. I returned to the store two days later to purchase this keyboard and I could not be happier. It is a top quality device that works seemlessly with the SP3. I just wish there was some sort of bundle option. That probably would have been the tipping point at the time of purchase to go ahead with the type cover at that time instead of having to return to the store and wait in line again to complete the package.
I use this keyboard with the STM Dux case and feel the device is well protected and completely functional.

I purchased this as an impulse buy thinking i would toss it if i found the stellar reviews over positive. let me say that i have got WAY more use out of this handy little device over the last day than any kitchen gadget i have ever purchased. i have tried all the cooking options and all with great success. i will say that the fresher the egg the more difficult to peel but this device does help. the omelets came out fluffy and the poached eggs were perfect, too. the only option i have not tried is the soft boiled, but i have no doubts they will come out perfect. one tip: use tongs when removing the egg tray. the handle does get really hot. the person who claimed that the egg tray needs handles while the base does not has not considered the need to move the device while in use nor how hot those handles would become. I can't think of a thing the Dash needs except maybe a small chime. it does turn itself off but with poached eggs you may end up with soft boiled results if left with residual heat.
The only. and i mean the only regret is seeing that the 12 egg version is Coming Soon today.

great item when you need to tuck away a computer. i'm using it for an office computer. bonus is that i use the vga and hdmi ports to create a multi display. works great in that regard. no problems at all.

The audio on these are great. The mic not so much. I use these to listen to audio books while I mow and do other tasks around the house. For that purpose they are great. Forget about them if a call comes in though. Luckily I don't have many friends so the phone doesn't ring very much. Wish the price in the store matched the online price. But $2 is not a huge loss. Convenience fee I suppose.

The modem/router is just OK. I think I was expecting a stronger signal. When sitting near the router the speeds are fast and signal stable. 10 feet away it drops quite a bit. At 30 feet the signal drops and speed is between 3mb and 5mb. Nothing like the old Linksys router.
To apply wi-fi security one needs to log in. The printed material lists the default password as 'password' when in fact it is 'motorola'. This typo could cause quite a bit confusion at first. Changing the IP address is another issue. Especially when you have your devices to connect at specific IP addresses. This modem creates new, rather strange IP's.

For those of you who own the SGS5 phone, you are aware that the waterproofing makes for a muffled, unfriendly music experience. And most tablets have pathetic speakers. Well this set of speakers solves the problem. Especially on the tablet, which I have a docking station for that these plug into. Very nice alarm clock when used that way.
Of course having a PC with only a VGA port to attach to the TV leaves a little sound deficiency. These solve that problem, too. So yeah I probably need to go ahead and get a few more of these!

This is hands down the handiest printer ever. Can print on the go. And cam give out the printers email address so others can 'mail' documents and they just print out. I'm amazed. Scanning from the adf directly to the smart phone. I rarely ever use the pc for anything. Seriously amazing tool.

A little expensive for what it is. But it's comfortable and handy. Wish or had some sort of cooling feature as it offers very little ventilation. Still room for a mouse with a 15.6 notebook.

Short answer: nope. At least for me it didn't work.
